On Christmas night, Sunday December 25th Legion Championship Wrestling returns and brings to you “BATTLE LINES” live from the Casa Del Mexicano. Now a few people have asked us why we decided to run a show on Christmas night? LCW has always ran shows on the last Sunday of the month, since the last Sunday of this month feel on Christmas we decided why change it. Traditionally wrestling shows through out the years have had great turnouts on Christmas night, and were hoping that’s the case for us this year. After all they’re isn’t many place open on Christmas night so if you feel like being entertained then join us that night as we bring to you this awesome show.
Since this show is on Christmas, we decided to give our fans a treat. In our main event at “BATTLE LINES” we will give the fans what they’ve been asking for. It will be Rico Dynamite taking on Tito Escondido in a Deathmatch. This seven month feud between these two men has finally escalated into a match not many wrestlers will participate in. Of all the matches that we have ever had here in LCW, this type of match carries the most risk. The chance to bodily injury is extremely high, but this seems to be the only match that may finally settle the score between Rico Dynamite and Tito Escondido. For the past seven months Rico Dynamite has been chasing Tito Escondido, but Tito has always been one step ahead of him. For the past seven months we have seen Rico Dynamite get screwed out of victories by Tito due to the help of Tito’s manger GQ Money and his fellow team mates Order 66. At our last show Rico was supposed to take on Mars Olsen in a one on one match. LCW had informed Rico that if he won that match, then at Battle Lines, LCW would grant Rico any type of match that he wanted against Tito Escondido. Before the show even started Rico Dynamite was jumped by Tito and Order 66. Tito Escondido smashed a light tube on Rico’s face in hopes of injuring him enough so that he couldn’t wrestle that night. Fortunately for them, their plan had worked; Rico Dynamite could not compete that night in his scheduled match. LCW decided it was unfair for Mars Olsen to be screwed out of a match that night, so they put him in the match with Tito and Kaos and made it a triple threat match. During the match Rico made his way to ringside with a steel chair in tow. Rico was able to use the chair to his advantage as he pile drove Tito onto it. To add insult to injury, Kaos threw Mars on top of Tito Escondido as the ref counted to three. Tito Escondido had finally lost his first match via pin fall here in LCW thanks to Rico Dynamite. Tito was so irate that he challenged Rico to any type of match he wanted as long as he could get his hands on him and get his revenge for the defeat that Rico caused him. Rico immediately accepted the challenge but it would have to be a deathmatch. It’s been a few months since Legion Championship Wrestling has had a deathmatch and the fans loved the idea of these two men battling it out in one of the most extreme matches in professional wrestling.
In our semi main event that night it will be 6 man tag team action as Little Cholo and Order 66 take on Kaos, Famous B and Willie Mack. Little Cholo has had some resentment towards Famous B and Willie Mack since making his return back to LCW. Cholo feels that he is given the proper respect that a veteran like himself deserves from the two rising superstars here in LCW. At our last show in the main event it was Order 66 taking on Famous B and Willie Mack as the two teams where the final combatants in a 4 corner tag team elimination match. Little Cholo decided to make his way to the stage and confront Famous B about the lack of respect he felt Famous B was giving him. Unfortunately Cholo made the decision while Famous B was about to hit his signature finisher top rope Swanton. Famous B drew his attention to Cholo and this was all the distraction that Order 66 needed as they immediately doubled teamed Famous B to get the win. Backstage, Famous B and Willie Mack decided to confront Little Cholo about his foolish decision to interrupt their match. Just then Order 66 made their way to the locker room and gloated the victory to their opponents, and an argument ensued. Little Cholo threw out a challenge to Famous B and Willie Mack to find a partner so they can face him and Order 66 at Battle Lines. Famous B immediately threw out Kaos’s name for his partner. So at “Battle Lines” it will be Little Cholo and Order 66 taking on Willie Mack, Famous B, and his trainer Kaos. Cholo blames Kaos for not teaching Famous B how to properly treat a veteran and he plans on making Kaos and his teammates pay for it.
