East LA, CA - It’s that time of the year again folks; when the days seem to get darker earlier, the nights seem colder, and people celebrate all things frightening. And on Sunday October 30th at the very haunted Casa Del Mexicano ( it really is haunted just search Casa del Mexicano haunted and several articles will appear about it) Legion Championship Wrestling presents “FEAR OF THE DARK” 2...The Body Count Continues. Just like in every horror movie franchise, we decided to add a sequel to our last October event.
But unlike most sequels that end up sucking, this event is already destine to live up to last years event and even surpassing it in entertainment and hopefully ticket sales. We have got several matches already signed for this event so lets get started.
Since our last event that took place in August there has been numerous details that we need to inform you fans on regarding what has happened here in LCW. First off for those wondering why we never had our anniversary show last month; the Casa was getting renovated and may not have been ready on time for our event. So we decided that instead of putting on a half ass show for you fans ( and remember this would have been our anniversary show which we wanted to be the biggest event ever for our fans) we decided to skip that show and make it up next year, bigger and better the way LCW is known for. Another thing that has happened here is that one of the matches that we hoped to bring you unfortunately wont be able to take place at this show. The Silver Heart Radicalz, who we wanted to put up against the returning Steve Pain and a partner of his choice from his group wont happen this show since the Radicalz have a prior engagement and wont be able to make it to this event. This put us in a dilemma until we decided that maybe it was best that they miss this show until we can figure out what to do with the anarchy that is plaguing the Soulless Assassins. Now that Steve Pain has returned, he wants to regain his leadership role in the group that he created here in LCW. However Blood Eagle who took on the role as leader when Steve was suspended by LCW refuses to give up his throne to Steve Pain. Steve felt that since his departure, the Assassins haven’t been the same reckoning force they once were and he blames Blood Eagle for that. At our last show a heated argument took place backstage between Steve and Blood Eagle. Some how after the event was over and we were cleaning up the Casa, the Assassins attacked the Radicalz in one of the locker rooms and viciously beat them until security stopped them. Now we don’t know who to blame as the master mind behind this attack since Steve and Blood Eagle both took credit as being the ring leader. So we decided since that Radicalz cant get their revenge at this show, we in LCW will do it for them. If Steve Pain and Blood Eagle want to be the leader of the Soulless Assassins so bad, then they can fight it out between themselves at “FEAR OF THE DARK” 2 and just to throw another monkey wrench into the already volatile group, we are going to make Labrynth the special guest referee for this match. Lets just see how the Assassins handle complete chaos when the shoe is on the other foot.
Another match that will take place that night will be the tag team of Kaos and Famous B taking on Order 66. Famous B wants revenge for the attack that happened to him at our last show. Order 66 along with fellow Elite member Tito Escondido assumed that Famous B was going to be Taste Of Perfection’s mystery partner. ( even though Famous B already had a match scheduled that night) So to keep the odds in their favor, they attacked Famous B after he had won his match and tried to take out his knees. Luckily no sever damage occurred since Taste of Perfection made the save just in time. In the end, Famous B wasn’t the mystery partner that the Elite thought., it ended up being Angel. Now that Famous B is 100 percent he wants some pay back and Kaos is right by his side, so at “FEAR OF THE DARK” 2 it will be Kaos and Famous B vs. Order 66. Also that night due to the fact that the Elite blatantly got disqualified so Tito wouldn’t suffer his first pin in LCW, Tito Escondido will have to take on Rico Dynamite one more time; one on one, but unlike last time when Order 66 ran in on the match when Rico Dynamite was clearly winning, this match will have no interference. If any member of Order 66 or Taste Of Perfection interfere in this match in any way that member will be suspended. There has to be a winner in this match. Will Tito Escondido be able to add Rico Dynamite to the already long list of wrestlers that he has bulldozed through, or will Rico finally be the first man to pin or submit Tito for the first time ever in LCW? You have to be there on October 30th at LCW’s “FEAR OF THE DARK” 2 to find out.
We got a call from a wrestler that hasn’t been seen in LCW since June. This wrestler was part of the joint show we did with another company, and although we didn’t book him that night (the other company brought him in on their behalf) he loved what LCW was doing in the wrestling scene and wanted to be apart of us. This wrestler is a veteran in the so cal wrestling scene and asked us if he could take on a new rising star to see if this up and comer has what it takes to take on a veteran like him. We told this wrestler that it sounded like a good idea and we would book the match for our next event. The so cal veteran agreed, so at FEAR OF THE DARK” 2 it will be the veteran Little Cholo taking on the new rising star Willie Mack.
Since our show is the night before Halloween, we decided to celebrate early by having our Legion Ladies taking part in a Halloween costume contest. Thunder Kitty, Jezebel, Amanda, Sage Sinn and Barbed wire Sandy have all agreed to take part in this event. It will be up to you fans to decided who the winner of this contest is, and since this is LCW and we really don’t have many rules, we told the ladies that there is no limit on how much, or how little they need to wear in order for their outfit to be considered a costume. BTW when Danny “Munchichi” Ramirez heard about this contest he immediately volunteered to be the MC of this event. Instead of disappointing the Munch we decided that he could have his wish granted, lets just hope he doesn’t mess this up.
There are still a lot more matches to take place at LCW’s “FEAR OF THE DARK” 2...The Body Count Continues with wrestlers like Angel, Asesisno Gemenes, Remy St. Claire, Los Chivos, Dragon Mask, Thunderwolf, the Brothers Draveko and many more being apart of them. So be sure to be there on Sunday October 30th at the very haunted Casa Del Mexicano 2900 Pedro Infante St. Los Angeles, CA 90063 ( btw here is a good article on the haunted Casa if you didn’t find one www.scspr.org/investigations/mexicanofb.htm ) as Legion Championship Wrestling presents our sequel to our last October event. “FEAR OF THE DARK” 2, also if you come to the event in a Halloween costume or Lucha Libre mask we will give you a free gift at the door. Stay tuned as we give you more information on this show until then be sure to Join the Legion by joining all of our social networks which you can find all the links below.
